Rules & Reulations
Please be aware that we now require a card on file for every reservation, regardless of the payment method used during booking. This card may be charged in the event of any damages to or theft of campground property, acts of vandalism, or violation of our rules, particularly those regarding speeding, failure to leave the site clean, or improper use of the firepit (burning materials other than firewood).
General Rules
1. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.
2. Guest assumes all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold park harmless from and indemnify park against the same.
3. The park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.
4. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.
5. All guests and visitors must register in the office upon arrival.
6. The speed limit in all areas is 5 mph and will be strictly enforced.
7. All roads are one-way only.
8. No vehicles can block any portion of the roadway.
9. Vehicles may travel on roadways only and should never drive through empty lots. Parking allowed in designated parking areas only.
10. No overnight parking or storage of trailers, boats, jet skis or utility trailers is allowed in any area without arrangements with the office.
11. Only persons with a valid driver’s license may operate a motor vehicle in the park, including golf carts, utility vehicles, scooters, etc.
12. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily, except for events organized by the campground, such as movies or karaoke. These events generally take place only on weekends and may happen with little or no notice.
13. Please be courteous to other guests around you.
14. Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. Low bass that carries is also prohibited.
15. Inconsiderate guests will be evicted from the park.
16. Obnoxious behavior of any kind is prohibited.
17. Profanity or violence towards other guests or campground staff will result in immediate eviction from the park.
18. Guests are prohibited from bringing firewood into the campground. Firewood may be purchased at the camp store.
19. All visitors must pay a day pass fee and park in a designated area. The day pass fee covers one vehicle and up to 5 people.
20. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight. All visitors are required to leave by 8:00 PM.
21. Minimum stay requirements may apply.
22. The use of Firearms is prohibited inside the park.
23. The use of archery, paintball, slingshots, or air guns is prohibited.
24. Fireworks of any kind are prohibited.
25. Use of illegal drugs is prohibited.
26. Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group (regardless of age) may result in eviction from the park.
27. Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Keep your valuables locked up.
28. Report any problems with your site or rental to the office immediately.
29. Gate access codes should never be shared with anyone not in your camping party. Sharing of codes may result in immediate eviction.
30. Do not force any gate open as it will result in damage to the gate. You will be held liable for any damage.
31. ATVs are prohibited in the park.
32. Do not throw trash or cigarette butts on the ground or in fire pits. Trash should not be burned in fire pits.
33. No glass containers are allowed on the sandbar.
34. No driving allowed on the sandbar. Vehicles may pull down near the sandbar for pick up and drop off of belongings only.
Campsite Rules
1. Check in time is 1pm for all tent and RV sites. Check out time is 11am.
2. A late checkout may be allowed with an additional fee. A late checkout will allow continued access to the campground facilities but may not allow extended access to your site or rental.
3. All Motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.
4. Tent sites are limited to a maximum of 2 tents and up to 5 people per site. Additional guests will be allowed for a fee per guest, per night up to a maximum of 8 guests total.
5. RVs may have 1 tent on site with up to 5 people per site. Additional guests will be allowed for a fee per guest, per day up to a maximum of 8 guests total.
6. A maximum of 2 vehicles will be allowed per RV site and 1 vehicle per tent site. Additional vehicles will need to be parked in a designated overflow areas.
7. Boats, boat trailers, cargo trailers or car dollies are not allowed on sites, except for trailers attached to motorhomes.
8. Mattresses, blowup mattresses, sleeping bags and cots are not allowed outside at any time.
9. Maintenance of RV’s or vehicles is not allowed during the weekend or during quiet times.
10. Washing RVs or vehicles is not allowed except for the maintenance of the RVs of monthly guests which should not be done during weekends or quiet hours.
11. Air conditioners and space heaters are not allowed in the tent sites. Violators will be fined a surcharge of $50.00 and may be asked to leave.
12. All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay and should be left clean and free of trash when you leave. Do not leave trash or cigarette butts in firepits. Failure to leave the site clean may result in a site cleaning fee (minimum $10.00) charged to the card on file.
13. All trash is to be disposed of in bags and then placed into the designated trash trailer near the exit gate.
14. DO NOT leave trash out overnight.
Cabin & RV Rental Rules
1. You must be at least 21 to reserve a cabin or RV rental. The person making the reservation must stay for the duration of the reservation as the responsible party.
2. Check in time is 3pm for all cabins and RV rentals Check out time is 11am.
3. A late checkout may be allowed with an additional fee. A late checkout will allow continued access to the campground facilities but may not allow extended access to your site or rental.
4. No pets allowed in cabins and are not allowed to be kept outdoors in any fashion. Violators will be subject to a cleaning fee of $250.00 and will be banned from future rentals.
5. No smoking in cabins/RV rentals at any time. Violators will be fined a cleaning fee of $250.00 and will be banned from future rentals.
6. No tents allowed at the cabins/RV rentals.
7. Each rental rate is based on the occupancy of that particular rental. Fees for additional guests will be charged per guest, per night with no more than 2 additional guests allowed. We reserve the right to charge additional fees in the event of unregistered guests over allowed occupancy.
8. Minimum reservation of 2 nights required all year. A minimum of 3 nights required on holiday and designated event weekends.
9. The Bird’s Nest is limited to 1 vehicle on site. All other cabins and rentals may have 2 vehicles on site. Additional vehicles must be parked in a designated overflow area.
Pet Rules
1. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is not considered suitable for the serenity/safety of our guests or the park.
2. Pets must be kept on a leash and under the control of someone who can manage them.
3. No exotic or oversized pets are permitted. This includes horses, all reptiles, or large birds.
4. Pets may not be left outside unattended.
5. Pets should not cause damage to sites, this includes digging holes, wearing down grass excessively, etc.
6. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
7. Park is not responsible for and will hold pet owner accountable for any injury or damage caused by pet(s).
8. Service animals must remain with and under the control of their handler at all times.
Golf Cart &Utility Vehicle Rules
The following applies to all rented and personal units unless otherwise stated.
1. Golf carts and utility vehicles are a privilege that may be revoked at any time.
2. All golf carts and utility vehicles must be registered with the office.
3. Proof of liability insurance that is in full effect and not expired must be provided to the office upon check in.
4. Only persons with a valid driver’s license may operate any golf cart or utility vehicle.
5. Golf carts & utility vehicles must follow all campground road signs and rules.
6. Do not drive through sites, across any grass, or on the walking trail.
7. Do not drive through barriers or on the sandbar.
8. Park only in the parking area of camp sites, not in the ‘yard’ area or park in designated parking lots.
9. No aggressive tires or lifted or loud golf carts or utility vehicles allowed.
10. No loud music or low bass while inside the park.
11. Golf carts & utility vehicles should be used for transportation only – not for ‘cutting up’. Violators will be parked.
12. All personal golf carts and utility vehicles are subject to approval by the owner of the park and may be denied entry for any reason.
13. Destruction of any surfaces within the park will result in immediate suspension of driving privileges.
14. Rental golf carts must remain inside the park at all times.
15. Rental golf carts may be confiscated for rule violation at any time without refund.
Guests being evicted due to a violation of rules or misconduct will not receive any refunds for their stay and will be banned from future reservations.
Campground rules may change at any time, with or without notice.
