Hoopee Holler Day Weekend

  • Ohoopee River Campground 1449 John Trull Circle Lyons, GA, 30436 United States (map)

Grab your overalls, throw on a straw hat, and get ready to hoot, holler, and laugh your way through one of the most entertaining weekends of the summer! Our Hoopee Holler Day Weekend is all about embracing your inner hillbilly, having fun with your fellow campers, and making memories that’ll have you giggling long after the fire’s out.

Here’s what’s going down:

Friday, July 25

🍦 8:30 PM – Ice Cream Social @ Camp Store
Cool off with a scoop (or two) at our Ice Cream Social! Build your own sundae with your favorite toppings.
Pay per scoop. Cash or card accepted.

🎲 9:30 PM – Snack BINGO @ the Pavilion
Bring a personal sized snack as your ‘buy in” and enjoy a little friendly competition where the snacks then become the prizes! *One snack allows one person to play all games with one card per game. Bring two snacks to play two cards for all games. (Max 2 cards per person)

Saturday, July 26

🎨 10:30 AM – Craft Hour @ the Pavilion
Bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxed morning of crafting.
We'll offer a free craft for all campers and an optional paid craft for those wanting to level up their creation. Perfect for all ages!

🛻 7:30 PM – Hillbilly Parade
Line up starts at 7:15 PM at the Camp Store.
Decorate your golf cart, buggy, bike, wagon—or anything that rolls—in true hillbilly fashion using whatever “supplies” you can round up (duct tape and plungers welcome!). Then join the parade and show off your one-of-a-kind masterpiece to the rest of the campground.

🎤 8:00 PM – Hillbilly Hoedown & Karaoke Night @ the Pavilion
Come dressed in your hillbilly best (think mullets, overalls, mismatched patterns, and duct tape accessories) and bring a backwoods-inspired snack or drink to share—creative presentations are encouraged! End the night with a crowd favorite—Karaoke under the stars!

  • Kids Karaoke (12 & under) kicks off at 8 PM

  • Adult Karaoke (13 & over) begins at 9 PM
Whether you’re a country crooner or just here for the fun, we want to hear you sing it loud and proud.

All Weekend Long:
Campers are encouraged to decorate their sites and dress the part—we're talking full-on backwoods brilliance. There may be a few surprise shout-outs for the most creative setups and costumes, so go big or go home!

This is one weekend you don’t want to miss—it’s gonna be a rootin’-tootin’, belly-laughin’, memory-makin’ good time at the river!
