Ohoopee River Campground is a peaceful family-owned and operated getaway located off the beaten path in Lyons, Georgia, alongside the tranquil waters of the Ohoopee River. Our proximity to Vidalia, home of the sweet Vidalia Onion and the Vidalia Onion Festival, and larger cities like Savannah, Dublin, and Statesboro make us an excellent destination for a quick day trip or a weekend getaway in Southeast Georgia. 

Since our opening in 2018, owners Billy and Anna Beth Willett have been dedicated to providing a safe and peaceful environment for our guests. Our RV camping sites offer full hook-ups and ample shade, and our riverside tent sites are perfect for hammock camping and come equipped with water and power. We also offer cabins and short-term and long-term RV rentals to suit your preferences.

One of the highlights of our campground is kayaking on the Ohoopee River. We offer kayak rentals and shuttles for kids and adults, attracting visitors from far and wide.

Our facilities include two bathhouses with private individual bathrooms, a coin-operated laundry, a playground, a walking trail, an outdoor movie theater, and an outdoor stage where you can enjoy karaoke on designated Saturday nights.
